Here is an excerpt from my journal from the date below. I wanted to share this with you, beloved, because 1. I want to get a little intimate with you and let you in on my personal prayer life with my Lord, so that you know that you and I are not different. I go through trials like you. And 2. I wanted to display the faith strengthening that comes from reflecting on my past prayers with God. When I created my Prayer and Answer Journal I did so with the intention of just what I did with this prayer request. Two years later I documented the amazing hand of God in my daughter's life.

Lord,
Right now we're going through a trial. Selah has been sick going to the hospital a few times. Once we think she's getting better things seem to revert. Lord it seems we have thus far exhausted all our medical options and so ask you for wisdom. Please help me to give her over to You and trust You! Help me not to be paralyzed by fear. Protect her little body as she undergoes steroids and antibiotics. I trust Your word which says Your Spirit will lead us into all truth. Help our faith to grow through this and to learn what You have for us to learn. Surround her with wise Dr's. Thank You Almighty, in Jesus name, Amen. Lord yesterday my whole family got baptized! My long awaited prayer for Joseph to be baptized has been answered. Thank you! I'm excited to watch You continue to work in Joseph's life. Thank You for the awesome blessing that he got to baptize Josiah and Selah! This truly is victory. Eternal victory. To You be glory, honor, praise and thanks for this -doing what only You can do.

Lord, I cried out to You and from Your holy temple You heard my cry! I thank You so much for taking Selah out of that dark place of having asthma attacks. Thank You for opening her airways and healing her. You truly are the Great Physician. And Jesus, as she is about to turn seven I ask that You would continue to grow her lungs, but also to grow her spirit. Cause her to know You more and let the eyes of her heart be flooded with light. Increase her prayer time with You and fellowship with You. Let Your light shine through Selah! I just thank You for putting Your zeal and passion into her. Thank you for giving her wisdom, understanding, and discipline. Thank You for making this little girl and for answering our prayers about when she was in utero. Thank you for blessing us with her and for letting me be her mother. Thank You for her affinity towards Your word. You made this little girl and to You be all thanks, praise, honor, and glory! In Jesus name, Amen.
When we take the time to see His answers we remember His faithfulness. We give Him thanks, and we trust Him more. I pray you are blessed beloved and may your prayer time with the Father grow and your faith in Him strengthen.
